Can I buy negatives of my pictures?
Absolutely! Check the Packages & Pricing
section for more information. Note that while we do offer this service, our
reprint costs are low enough that
it will most likely be more cost effective for us to process your re-orders.
This also ensures you'll receive a consistenly high quality standard.
How long do you keep negatives on file?
We digitally archive every image on top-rated optical media to last at least 30 years,
and will upgrade that storage and protection prior to any expected expiration. Your
pictures will be available as long as we are, and will be made available to you at
reduced cost if we ever decide to quit the business.
Do you use film or digital?
Primarily digital, though we can work with your exisiting prints or negatives for
retouching and
special effects work.
All prints we produce are through the traditional silver-halide chemical paper exposure process,
with the same richness of detail and color and long life expectancy.

What kinds of effects can you do?
This question is best answered by browsing through the
appropriate gallery section. We
can do all the standard photographic effects such as: selective coloration, black & white,
sepia tone (aged effect), soft focus, fogged (blurred) borders, etc.
We also provide combinations within any of these as well as other more specialized effects -
please note though that there are aesthetic limitations as to what can be accomplished,
and that many advanced effects will require the original picture to be shot in a certain format to achieve.
Typically there is no additional cost for adding these to pictures we've taken for you.
Do you travel outside Salt Lake County?
There is no surcharge for coverage provided in Davis, Salt Lake or Utah counties; we
will gladly travel farther but will request that travel time and distances be covered with
an appropriate additional fee, including any lodging requirements.
